James William Bryan was the son of David Anderson Bryan and
Frances (Fanny) Acuff. His wife was Malinda Catherine
Van Dyke. David Anderson Bryan's ancestry is unknown.
He was in Sevier County, Tennessee at the same time as my line
of Bryans who were descended from Peter Bryan and who moved to
Sevier County from Rockingham County, Virginia.
